The social media platform X (first Twitter) faced outage for about 3 hours on the second day due to technical fault in the data center. Services remained down from 5.30 to 8.43 pm on Saturday evening.
Users worldwide, including India, had difficulty in using major facilities including login, signup, posting and watching. On Friday also x was down for a few hours.

The company’s technical team is constantly working to fix the problem. The X recently reduced the engineering team significantly, causing difficulty in handling the essential systems.
The company’s engineering team said in a post that, ‘We are still facing problems from tomorrow’s data center outage. Login and signup services are not available for some users and premium services may be delayed.
25,000 complaints of X Down were made in America
According to the platform dowdater, who described the real time status of the website and online services, X users complained about being down between 5.30 pm and 8.43 pm. At around 6.23 pm, the highest number of 2258 complaints were filed.
At the same time, according to Reuters, complaints were received in the US at 8:39 am to social media platforms. There, more than 25 thousand complaints were filed.
55% people are having problems in the app
According to the Dowditector, many users worldwide faced problems in accessing both the web and app version and refreshing the post.
About 55% of people had problems in using the app. At the same time, 22% of people had problems in logging in and about 23% said that they had problems in web connections.

X two outage of x
- On 26 April 2024, X went down from around 1.15 pm. On the down detector, 145 people reported a problem in using X. Users were facing difficulty in its use on both web and app.
- On 21 December 2023, the service of X was also down. Users from all over the world, including India, were having problems in accessing X from around 11 am on Thursday morning. Users saw a message instead of the post, in which it was written ‘Welcome to X.’
