Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister
Mumbai: Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha in the government headed by Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra said that the state government will not stop the ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme. Ladki sisters will continue to get fifteen hundred rupees every month. He said that the government will give money to the dear sisters and also to Lakhpati Didi. On the question of shutting down the ladki sister scheme, he said that this scheme will not be closed. People’s job is to say that some people will say, we have not cheated. It is the job of the opposition to accuse the government’s job to keep working.
Promise to pay Rs 2100 per month instead of 1500
In fact, under the Ladki Bahin scheme, the ruling Mahayuti government in Maharashtra promised to pay Rs 2100 per month to the sisters instead of 1500. The government was formed in Maharashtra and the budget was also presented, but so far the dear sisters are getting only 1500 rupees every month. There is no mention in the budget to increase the amount of this scheme to Rs 2100. From this attitude of the government, the question arose that the Mahayuti government will not stop the Ladki Bahin scheme. In response to this, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha said that the state government will not stop the ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said this
Explain that even before the budget, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had indicated that the Ladki sister scheme can be increased from the current amount to Rs 2100 per month. He said that we will definitely fulfill the promise we made before the election. He had taunted the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi, saying that the Ladli sisters have voted for us in the election and have made the step brothers sit at home.
Explain that many schemes are being run by the Central and State Governments for women empowerment. In order to give financial benefits to women every month in Maharashtra, the government launched the Majhi Girl Bahin Yojana. This scheme is considered to be a big role in Mahayuti’s victory in the assembly elections. These schemes are being run by women empowerment and society to increase the participation of women.
