Italian 2-wheeler brand Velocifero on Tuesday (November 19) launched its first electric scooter VLF Tennis 1500W in India. The company has kept the ex-showroom price of the electric scooter at Rs 1.30 lakh. The new e-scooter will be assembled at KAW Veloce Motors’ factory in Kolhapur.
The company claims that the e-scooter will get a range of 130 kilometers once fully charged. It can be booked from the official website by paying Rs 999. Its delivery will start from November 25. It competes with electric scooters like Ather Rizta, Ola S1, TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1 and Bajaj Chetak.

Design: EV design on high tensile steel frame The VLF Tennis is designed on a high tensile steel frame. It is a stylish e-scooter, with 2-tone bodywork, a flat seat and a 5-inch TFT instrument console. It has an under-seat storage cubby, which can hold a half-face helmet.
For comfort riding, the VLF Tennis has a telescopic fork at the front and a cantilever mono-shock with an aluminum swingarm at the rear. For braking, it has hydraulic disc brakes on both the wheels. The EV has been provided with 12 inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with 110/80 section tyres.


Performance: Top speed of 65kmph and range of 130km For performance, the VLF Tennis has been provided with a 1.5 kW electric motor, which generates 3.5PS of power and 157Nm of torque. The company claims that the e-scooter can achieve a top speed of 65kmph.
To power the electric motor, a 2.5 kWh battery pack has been provided, which will give a maximum (IDC) range of 130 kilometers on full charge. The e-scooter comes with a 720-watt charger, which takes about 3 hours to charge the battery.
