Two smartphones of Vivo V40 series launched on August 7 – Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro
Chinese tech company Vivo may launch another smartphone from the Vivo V40 series ‘Vivo V40e’ in the Indian market by the end of September. However, Vivo has not given any information about the launch. But, many media reports are claiming the launch of the smartphone this month.
According to My SmartPrice, the upcoming smartphone will have a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support just like the recently launched smartphone. The company claims that it will be the thinnest smartphone in the Indian market in this battery capacity segment.
Apart from this, the smartphone will have a 3D AMOLED curved display with 4500 nits peak brightness. According to several leaked reports, the smartphone will have MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with 8GB of RAM.
Vivo V40e will also have a ZEISS telephoto portrait camera like the previous smartphone. ZEISS cameras are known for high-quality workmanship and better light intensity. This camera has features like standard autofocus lens and manual focus.

- Display: Both Vivo V40 smartphones feature a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness is 2,800 nits and resolution is 1260×2800 pixels.
- Main Camera: The back panel of Vivo V40 has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera and a 50MP wide-angle camera. At the same time, the triple camera setup on the back panel of Vivo V40 Pro has a Sony IMX921 main camera, 50MP wide angle and 50MP Sony IMX816 (ZEISS) telephoto camera.

- Processor: The company has given Vivo V40 Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. At the same time, MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor has been given in Vivo V40 Pro. Both smartphones have Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
- Other Features: The phone has smart color temperature adjustment, distance sensitive lighting, studio quality Aura Light, and ZEISS professional portrait camera. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and Type-C charging point.
