JSW-MG India has launched the 2025 model of compact SUV Ester in India. It provides more than 49 safety features with personal AI Assistance and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) as before. New features have been added to the mid -variant Shine and Selection of the updated car.
Now the shine variant has a panoramic sunroof and 6-speaker sound system. With this, the MG Ester is the first SUV to give panoramic sunroof in its segment for less than Rs 12.5 lakh. At the same time, 6 airbags and ladorate seats upholstery have been included in the Ester Select variant.
The new ester 6 is available in color option.
Shine petrol manual variant expensive by Rs 36,000 This has also increased the price of MG Ester, although its initial price is still Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). Esters Shine Petrol Manual Variant has become expensive by Rs 36,000, while the price of select manual and automatic variants has increased by Rs 38,000.
There has been no change in the price of other variants. It competes in India with Sailtos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyder, Honda Eleivet, Foxwagen Tagan and Skoda Kushak.
2025 mg ester: features The company has not made any cosmetic or mechanical changes in the new ester. In this, features like front ventilated seat, auto dimming IRVM and wireless phone charger are available as before. The car gets 49+ safety features with 360 degree around Vio camera and 14 level-2 adas safety features.
All variants of the SUV have a 10.1-inch infotainment system standard and upgraded with Smart 2.0 UI. The car has more connected car features than before, including the Jio Voice Recognition System with weather, news, calculator and voice commands. Its infotainment system now supports wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The latest car provides an automatic climate control like a panoramic sunroof, 6-way power adjustable driver seat. For the safety of the passenger, it has 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill assent and decent control and heated ORVM. It also has Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), under which features such as Adoptive Cruise Control, Forward Coalition Warning, Automatic Emergency Breaking and LAN-Cipting/Departure Assist, Blind Spot Detection are available.
2025 Mg Ester: Performance No changes have been made in the new MG ester engine and gearbox. It has two engine options as before. These include a 110PS power and a 1.5-liter natural aspirated petrol engine that generates torque of 144Nm.
At the same time, the second 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine is available, which generates power of 140PS and torque of 220Nm. The 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and CVT gearbox option for transmission.
