Electrician cut off power to petrol pump
Hapur: A surprising case has come to light from Hapur, UP. Here an electricity employee cut off the electricity of a petrol pump because when he went to the petrol pump to fill petrol, the employee did not give him petrol without a helmet.

A shocking case of arbitrariness of an electricity employee has come to light from Hapur, UP. There was a dispute between the electricity worker and the petrol pump workers at a petrol pump of Bharat Petroleum located on Partapur Road in Pilkhuwa Kotwali area of Hapur. The reason for the controversy was the order of the District Magistrate, due to which instructions have been issued not to provide petrol to any two-wheeler without a helmet.
The incident occurred on January 13, when the petrol pump employees refused to give petrol to an electrician who reached the petrol pump without a helmet. There was a dispute between the two for some time but the petrol pump employees refused to give petrol without helmet. After this, the electric employee got angry and climbed a pole near the petrol pump and cut the line of the petrol pump itself.
As soon as the electricity of this petrol pump located in Pilkhuwa Kotwali area was cut, all the work came to a halt and after this the petrol pump employees informed their boss about the entire incident. After this, after the intervention of higher officials, the electricity employee, admitting his mistake, connected the line back. After this the dispute calmed down.
Giving information about the incident, an employee posted at the petrol pump said that after the DM’s order, giving petrol without a helmet is prohibited. For this reason the electricity department employee was not given petrol. When he was not given petrol because he was not wearing a helmet, he became angry and climbed a nearby pole and cut off the electricity to the petrol pump. After this the owner was informed and the functioning of the petrol pump came to a halt for about 20 to 30 minutes. In this case, a CCTV footage has also surfaced, in which a person is seen cutting the line by climbing a pole near the petrol pump.
