Mainpuri: Big news is coming out from Mainpuri, UP. Samajwadi Party has announced its candidate for the by-election to be held on Karhal assembly seat here. In this by-election, Tej Pratap Yadav will be the SP candidate from Karhal. SP’s National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav has made this announcement. Let us tell you that this seat had become vacant after the resignation of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
It is noteworthy that by-elections are to be held on 10 assembly seats in UP. In such a situation, SP has set the tone by fielding a candidate from Karhal seat. On Monday, SP’s National Chief General Secretary Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav has announced the name of Tej Pratap Yadav while addressing a meeting in Karhal. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, UP BJP President Bhupendra Chaudhary, Organization Minister Dharampal Singh and other officials attended the meeting.
After poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP has put all its strength in the by-elections to be held on ten seats. In the panel that has been prepared with the names of three candidates for ten seats, special attention has been paid to the caste and regional equation.
