Toyota Kirloskar has increased the price of its cheapest 7 seater MPV (multi -purpose vehicle) today (July 23). With this, now the variants of the car have become expensive by 13 thousand rupees. The initial ex-showroom price of the car has increased from Rs 10.54 lakh to Rs 10.67 lakh.
Apart from the price hike, there have been no other changes in the MPV based on Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It has the same exterior and cabin design and features. Roomian is equipped with latest features like smartphone and smartwatch connectivity. The engine of the car can be started with a smartphone. The company claims that this car gives mileage of 20.52kmpl in petrol variants and 26.11km in CNG variant.

The fourth is the fourth badge-engineer model shared between the two companies after Toyota Glanja, Urban Cruiser and Maruti Suzuki Invito. Along with this, the Japanese car maker company Toyota has the most affordable car after the Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross and Welfire in its MPV portfolio in the Indian market.
Exterior Design: Setup of LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs
The manufacturing of the car manufactures Maruti Suzuki and supplies Toyota like glazed. Some cosmetic changes are available in the Toyota Rumion compared to Ertiga. The biggest change is seen in its front grille, which is taken from the Innova Crysta. The grill has a honeycomb pattern and is surrounded by chrome.
The setup of LED projector headlamps with both and integrated LED DRLs of the grille is given. The front bumper has also been given a new design and there is another chrome elements on the lower back. Foglamps are found on both sides of it. The new 7-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels are found on the side, which are different from Ertiga.
There is no sacrifice in the side and rear profile of the car. The interior of Roomian provides dual-tone treatment like the Ertiga, in which the new logo of Toyota on the steering wheel is the only difference. Apart from this, equipment with 7 seater layouts have also been taken from Ertiga.

Interior Design: 60:40 Split seats with 7-inch touchscreen
- Color theme and layout: Dual-tone beige and black interior, which gives the cabin a special and clean look. The dashboard is simple, which has wood-finished inserts.
- Seating and Space: The second row with a 7-seater layout with 60:40 split seats, which can be slide and folded. The boot space is 209 liters, which grows up to 550 liters when folded seats. The third cry is safe for young children or short trips.
- Comfort features: Height adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, second row AC vents, and flat-bottom steering wheel (with audio/Bluetooth control). Some variants also have cruise control and arms.
- Infotainment: 7-inch touchscreen, which supports wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay. 6-spicker with sound system. The instrument cluster is analog, which has a small digital display.

Performance: Mileage of 26.11KM/KG in CNG
The Toyota rumion has a 1.5-liter 1.5-liter natural aspirated petrol engine, which generates 103HP power and 137Nm torque. This engine provides an option of 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Roomians have also been introduced with a factory fitted CNG kit. This engine generates 88hp power in CNG mode and torque of 121.5Nm. The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 20.11 kmpl with manual transmission, 20.51kmpl with automatic transmission and 26.11km/kg in CNG.
The company has equipped this car with petrol engine as well as Neo Drive (ISG) and E -Cing Technique. The company says that new Neo Drive Technology and E-Cing techniques improve the mileage of this car. This car is available with both petrol (Neo Drive) and CNG i.e. both fuel options.
