Toyota Kirloskar Motor has updated Glanza. This popular premium hatchback car of the company will now get 6 airbag standard in all variants- E, S, G and V. This includes the front, side and cutting airbags for drivers and passengers. With this, this car has now become more safe than before. The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 30.61km/kg with the CNG option.
Along with this, Toyota has also launched a new ‘Prestige Package’. In this package available till 31 July, you will find assessions like door viizer, chrome and black color essent with body side molding, rear lamp garnish, chrome garnish for ORVM and Fender, Accessories like Crome Garnish, Rear Skid Plate, Illuminated Door Sils and Lower Grill Garnish. Toyota recently introduced a similar package for hirider.
Toyota Glanza has 5 color options.
Ex-showroom price 6.90 to 10 lakh rupees
The ex-showroom price of the updated glaza starts at Rs 6.90 lakh, which goes up to Rs 10 lakh in the top variant. The hatchback competes with Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, Tata Ultrose and Citroen C3 Cross – Hatchback. Toyota is also offering a standard warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers with a car, which can be extended for 5 years or 2.2 lakh kilometers.
360-degree camera with 6 airbags for safety
- Safety: 6 airbags (front, side and coasten) standard, 360-degree camera, EBD with ABS, hill hold assist and reverse parking sensor.
- Infotainment: 9-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Support and Premium 4-Sound System.
- Comfort: Automatic climate control, height adjustable driver seat and power window.
- Technology: Heads-up display and I-Connect connected car technology (remote lock/unlock, vehicle tracking etc.) of Toyota.

Performance: 22.35kmpl in petrol and 30.61km/kg mileage in CNG
There is no change in the engine of the car. It has a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine as before, which generates 82bhp power and 113Nm torque. Options for 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox are available with the engine for transmission.
Manual variant: The car with a 5-speed gearbox offers good response on both city and highway. The pickup is a little smooth, but it is not much exciting for sporty driving. It takes about 12-13 seconds to catch a speed of 0 to 100 kmph.
Amt variant: It is easy and comfortable for automatic gearboxes, especially in traffic. However, gear shifting has a slight leg feel, which may make the speed lovers a bit disappointed. There is a mileage of 22.35kmpl in manual variants and 22.94kmpl in AMT.
CNG variant: The CNG option is fantastic for those who want to save fuel. Power in this becomes slightly less (about 68-70bhp), but the mileage of 30.61km/kg makes it economical. Performance may have to compromise a little.
