Naga Sadhu
Mother Ganga has a special place in the Maha Kumbh bath. Mother Ganga is worshiped during the Maha Kumbh Mela. When is the second Amrit Snan?
Naga Sadhus have set up their camp in Mahakumbh. Amrit bath has special significance in Mahakumbh. The first Amrit Snan took place on 14th January. The second Amrit Snan will be organized on 29th January. In such a situation, Naga Sadhus have been given the right to take the first bath. After this other devotees will get a chance to take bath. Let us tell you that Naga Sadhus have unwavering faith in Mother Ganga. They also take care that their sanctity is not violated
Unwavering faith in Mother Ganga
Naga Sadhus have deep faith in Mother Ganga. All Nagas take special care of the purity of Ganga while bathing in it. To ensure that their dirt or other filth does not enter the sacred water of the river while bathing, they go to bathe in the Ganga only after taking bath in their camps. Then the Nagas smear their bodies with ashes and take a holy dip in the Ganges. Naga Sadhus apply Bhasma as a symbol of purity of Lord Shiva.
