Indian EV Startup Revolt Motors has launched the new electric bike RV BlazX in India. The company has priced it at Rs 1.15 lakh. Features such as front storage box and under-seat charger compartment are provided. By going to the official website or dealership of Buyers Revolt, you can book it through a token amount of Rs 499.
The delivery of the bike will begin from the first week of March. It will compete with Ola’s electric bike roadster in India. The company claims that the RV Blazex gives a range of 150km r on a full charge.
Revolt RV Blazex: Design
In terms of look and design, the bike entry level model is similar to RV1. The company has launched it in the market in Sterling Silver Black and Aclips Red Black two color options. It has sleek indicators with round LED lamps that give it a sporty look. A muscular panel is replaced by a fuel tank with a removable battery option. The bike has rear aer shape tail lights with single-piece seat.
Revolt RV Blazex: Hardware
The front of the bike has a telescopic fork and twin shock absorber suspension in the rear. For braking, 240 mm disc brakes are provided on both the front and back. The height of the seat of Blazex is 790 mm. The bike gets 1350 mm wheelbase and 80 mm ground clearance.
The weight of the bike is 113 kg. The bike has used IP67 rated lithium-ion batteries. The e-bike runs on a 17-inch wheel.
Revolt RV Blazex: Performance, Battery and Range Blazex has a 3.24 kwh battery pack. The company has used a 4.1 kW electric motor to power the bike, which gives a top speed of 85 kmph. The bike gives 150 km IDC certified range in single charge. Along with this, the battery supports fast charging.
It can be 80% charge in 80 minutes from fast charger. At the same time, the bike takes 3.5 hours to get full charge from the normal charger. The bike also has a regional braking system, which helps to increase the range by capturing energy during slow down.
Revolt RV Blazex: features RV Blazex has a 6 -inch LCD screen with bike speed, smartphone connectivity, driving range, battery percentage information. Along with this, 3 different riding modes have been given in the bike. The company has also included app connectivity features such as reverse mode, GPS as well as geoofinging.
Apart from this, the rider has also been given the option to select the sound of the bike. Revolt has given 4 sound options with the bike. These sounds can be selected with the company’s Myrevolt application. At the same time, the rider will also get the option of muted.
