Tech company Realme has upgraded the P series in the mid-budget segment of smartphones in India. Under this, the company has launched the Realme P2 Pro 5G smartphone. In this, users will get features like a curved display with 2000 nits peak brightness, rainwater smart touch feature and a 50 megapixel camera.
The company has launched the smartphone in three storage variants. These include 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. Its starting price is Rs 21,999. As a launch offer, the company is offering a discount of Rs 2,000 on the base model and Rs 3,000 on the other two.
The early bird sale of the smartphone will start on e-commerce site Flipkart, the brand’s website and other retail outlets from September 17, which will run only from 6 to 8 pm. It will compete with smartphones like Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Infinix GT 20 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro in India.

Realme P2 Pro 5G: Design Realme P2 Pro 5G has a curved panel with a punch hole cutout. The brand has provided IP65 water resistant technology with armor shield glass to make the phone stronger. A curved square shape module with camera setup and LED flash is provided on the back panel of the smartphone. The phone is available in Parrot Green and Eagle Gray color options.

The display works at a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz for smooth interaction. It supports 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 1.07 billion colors. The peak brightness of the display is 2000 nits. Corning Gorilla 7i has been installed for protection.
- Chipset : For performance, Realme P2 Pro has Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 5G chipset. It is built on 4nm process. In this, you will get high clock speed up to 2.4GHz. Adreno 710 GPU has been installed in the phone for graphics. It also has a 9-layer cooling system, which has large tempered VC and graphite which effectively removes heating.
- Storage and RAM: Realme P2 Pro 5G will get up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. With its help, 30 apps can run in the background. Apart from this, files including data and photos can be saved.
- Camera : The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup and LED flash on the back panel, which has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary lens with optical image stabilization technology. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens is available with this. At the same time, users have a 32-megapixel front lens for selfies and video calling.
- Battery and Charging : Realme P2 Pro 5G has a large 5200mAh battery. It comes with 80W ultra-fast charging. The brand claims that Realme P2 Pro gets charged from 0-100% in about 49 minutes. This long-lasting battery can remain good even after four years. The company has said that it will give a good experience even after 4 years of use.
