Prashant Kishore gave a big statement on liquor ban.
Patna: Prashant Kishor, who is going to start his political innings from Bihar, has made a big statement about liquor ban. Before his party’s foundation day on October 2, he talked about ending liquor ban in Bihar immediately if he comes to power on Saturday. Talking to the media, Prashant Kishor said, “There is no need for any special preparation for the 2nd. We have been preparing for the last two years. If Jan Suraj government is formed, we will end liquor ban within an hour.”
A direct target on Tejashwi
Prashant Kishor, when asked about Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav’s visit, said, “My best wishes to him. At least he has come out of home and is going among the public.” After Tejashwi Yadav’s claim that Nitish Kumar had apologised with folded hands for joining the BJP-led NDA, Prashant Kishor said, “This issue is between Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav, and it does not matter who apologised with folded hands; both have harmed Bihar. People of Bihar have seen both of them for 30 years. We are urging both of them to leave Bihar.
Questions raised on the approach to education
Let us tell you that earlier, Prashant Kishore launched a scathing attack on Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and questioned his ability to lead the state’s development. Addressing a gathering in Bhojpur, Bihar, Prashant Kishore said, “If someone could not get educated due to lack of resources, it is understandable, but if someone’s parents were Chief Ministers and he could not pass 10th class, it shows their attitude towards education.” He further said, “9th class dropouts are showing the way to Bihar’s development. He (Tejashwi Yadav) does not know the difference between GDP and GDP growth, yet he claims to know how Bihar will improve.”
