Ola Electric has launched its first electric bike Roadster X in the Indian market today (February 05). The company making electric two-wheelers has introduced two models of bikes- Roadster X and Roadster X+. Ola claims that the top variant of Roadster X+ will get a range of 501km. In addition, it will get features such as geo fencing, anti theft alarm and traction control.
Roadster X has been launched with three and Roadster X+ with two separate battery pack options. That is, both models have been introduced in a total of 5 variants with different battery packs. The ex-showroom price of the initial variant of Roadster X has been kept at Rs 89,999 lakh, but under the launch offer it can be purchased in 74,999. The price of its top variant goes up to 1.09 lakh rupees.
The bike will get a ground clearance of 180mm.
At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the initial variant of Roadster X+ has been kept at Rs 1,19,999 lakh, but under the launch offer it can be purchased in 1,04,999. Its top variant is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh. The company has started booking all the bikes and their delivery will start from March 2025.
Ola Roadster X Range Obane will compete with affordable electric bikes like Oz, Revolt RV1, Revolt RV400 BRZ and Pure EV Ecodrift. At the same time, Roadster X+ will compete with more premium electric bikes like Obone Ror, Revolt RV400 and Matter Era. All bikes will get a standard warranty of 3 years/50,000 km.

Design: 5 color options will be found The company has introduced the Roadster X series in a sporty look to compete with the commuters motorcycle segment bikes. Ola Electric Roadster X series is introduced with 5 color options. This includes ceramic white, pine green, industrial silver, steller blue and anthracite color.
The bike has a storage box instead of fuel tank, where its charger can be kept. The battery pack is placed below. Apart from this, the bike has a two -light headlamp setup, sleek LED tail lamp and single piece seat with an integrated DRL bandage.
Hardware: Front telescopic forks and rear dual rear shock absorber For comfort riding in Ola Roadster X and X+ electric bikes, telescopic forks in front and dual rear shock absorbs in the rear. For braking, both wheels in Roadster X have drum brakes, which has a blank braking system (CBS).
At the same time, the discster X+ front has disc and drum brakes in the rear. It has a single-channel ABS standard with brake by wire techniques. Both Ola electric bikes have 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with tubeless tires.
Features: Cruise Control and Reverse Mode Roadster X and X+ have a 4.3 -inch color LCD screen equipped with Move OS 5. It will get smartphone connectivity features such as turn-by-turn navigation, calls and SMS alerts and remote unlock. Electric bikes have three ride modes- Sports, Normal and Eco with features such as TPMS and OTA updates. There is also a small boot storage space to keep the charger in both electric bikes. Roadster X+ will also get Advanced Regen, Reverse Mode and Cruise Control.
