Nissan Magnite is an affordable sub-compact SUV, known for its stylish design, features and value-for-mani in the Indian market. Now the company has also given the option of CNG (Retrophitment from Arthurized Dealership).
Dainik Bhaskar’s auto desk team saw it running about 1000 kilometers. So let’s know that this car is special. We will cover here points like its design, performance, features, mileage and practicality.

Design and looks: 16 inch dual tone alloy wheels Nissan Magnite’s facelift came in October last year, but its design is still very interactive and modern. After 2024 facelift, it first gives more premium feel.
Exterior: Magnite features bold front grille, boomerang-style LED day-time running lights with sleek headlamps and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The new sunrise copper orange color and gloss black finish grills make it more interactive. Ground clearance of 205mm and body cladding around gives it a SUV -like rub. It is good for Indian roads.

Interior: The cabin uses dual-tone (copper/black) lady’s upholstery and texcharged materials, which gives premium feel. The layout of the dashboard is clean, but in some places (eg glovebox and B/C-pillars) panel gaps are seen, which show a decrease in fit-finish.

Performance: Now CNG option with turbo petrol engine Magnite comes with two petrol engine options. It provides a 1.0 -liter natural aspirated petrol engine, which generates 72PS power and 96Nm torque. It gets the option of 5 speed manual (MT) and 5 speed AMT gearbox.
This engine is fine for basic driving, but it seems under power at the time of climbing or overtaking and decreased in refinement. With the manual gearbox of this engine, now you can also get a CNG kit by paying 70 thousand rupees extra.
The second 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine is available, which generates torque of 160nm with power and manual gearbox of 100PS and 152Nm torque with CVT engine. This engine is more pepping and response, especially for highway driving. CVT is automatic smooth, but gives a little slow response.

Driving Experience: Magnite with turbo-petrol gives fun driving in both the city and highway. The suspension handles the small pits of the city well, but the ride quality at high speed looks a bit hard. Steering response is fine, but premium SUVs such as Kia Sonnet or Mahindra XUV 3xo are not as sharp.
Mileage: The ARAI claimed mileage of the Naturali aspirate is 17.9kmpl with MT and 19.7kmpl with AMT. Real-world has a mileage between 17 and 18kmpl. At the same time, the turbo petrol engine has a mileage of 13-14kmpl in the city with CVT gearbox and 18+ kmpl on the highway. The CNG provides a mileage of 19.6km/kg, which is a good option for affordable driving.

Space and practicality Magnite is 5-seater, in which 3 people can sit comfortably on the rear seat. The 336-liter boot space is sufficient for the small family. It can be extended to 690 liters with 60:40 Split Rear seats. The long journey on the rear seat may have a slight cramped feel, as the width of the cabin is less than some competitions such as the XUV 3xo. However, it is wide than Tata Panch and Hyundai Exter.

Magnite compete with Tata Panch, Nexon, Maruti Fronx Hyundai Exterities, Wenue, Kia Sonnet, Reno Cyer and Mahindra XUV 3xo. Its price and features bring it closer to the Tata Panch and Reno Kigar, but are slightly behind in interior quality and refinement compared to premium SUVs like Sonnet and XUV 3xo.

Final Wordict
Nissan Magnite is a good option for budget-friendly, stylish and feature-loaded SUVs. The CNG option for small family or first-time buyers makes it more economical. 40+ features such as 360-degree camera with more than 20 segment first features and 6 airbags for safety for safety make it a value-for-manne car for safety.
If your budget is 10-12 lakhs and you want a stylish, feature-rich SUV, then Magnite top variant is a strong option. Yes, if you want premium interiors, sunroof or more refined driving experience, then you have to see other options.
