Hero MotoCorp has launched a new updated range of Hero Splendor Plus in the Indian market today (11 April). The engine of the company’s top selling bike has been updated according to the OBD-2B emission norms.
Apart from this, no changes have been made in the design, hardware and features of the bike. The company claims that this bike runs 73 kilometers in a liter of petrol.
New Splendor became expensive by Rs 1,750 Hero has kept the initial ex-showroom price of updated bike at Rs 78,926. The company has just updated its five variants. The top variant with its extech disc has been priced at Rs 86,051. The bike has now already become expensive by Rs 1,750.
However, non-OBD2B variants are also listed on Hero’s website, but they will be discontinued soon. The bike in India compete with the new Splendor Plus Honda Shine 100, Bajaj CT 100, Bajaj Platina and TVS Radion.
