On Monday, the Ministry of Home Affairs of India has directed all states and union territories to organize a full scale civil security mock drills to investigate preparations against “new and complex dangers” which will be held in 244 districts of the country on Wednesday 7 May. According to the Government of India, the mock drill will include siren tests of air strikes, war -time blackout simulation, activism of emergency control papers, withdrawal rehearsals and coordination with Indian Air Force.
