Bhadrapad Purnima 2024: In Hinduism, both Amavasya and Purnima have special importance. Like Amavasya, bathing and donation are done on Purnima as well. Taking bath and donating on Purnima day brings auspicious results. On Purnima day, there is also a provision of worshiping the moon along with Lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi. This year, the full moon of Bhadrapada month will be celebrated on 18 September, but the Purnima fast will be observed on 17 September. Auspicious yogas are also being formed on Bhadrapada Purnima. Bhadrapada Purnima 2024 Muhurta
Bhadrapada Purnima is observed every year on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. As per Hindu Panchang, the full moon day will begin on 17th September at 11:44 AM. The full moon day will end on 18th September at 8:04 AM. As per Udaya Tithi, the full moon day of Bhadrapada month is on 18th September. It will be auspicious to take bath and give donation before the full moon day ends. So, take bath and give donation in this Muhurta. The time of moonrise on the full moon day will be 6:37 PM. If there is Chandra Dosha in your Kundli, then definitely donate white things on the full moon day.
Bhadrapada Purnima 2024 Yoga
Ravi Yoga is being formed on the day of Bhadrapad Purnima. Ravi Yoga will start on 17th September at 6:07 am, while it will end at 1:53 pm. Performing Puja in Ravi Yoga is considered extremely fruitful. It is also said that all types of defects are removed by performing Puja in Ravi Yoga. On the same day, Dhriti Yoga will also remain till 7:48 am.
