So many people have taken bath till now
From the beginning of Mahakumbh till January 21, more than 9.24 crore people have taken bath in Sangam. If we talk about today, till the time of writing this news, more than 30.47 lakh people have taken bath. There are more than 10 lakh Kalpavasis and more than 20.47 lakh pilgrims.
What decisions did CM Yogi take in the cabinet meeting?
- New medical colleges will be opened in three districts – Baghpat, Kasganj and Hathras.
- Bond will be issued for Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra Municipal Corporation
- Youth will be given smartphones and tablets
- Bundelkhand Expressway will be connected to Ganga Expressway.
- Chitrakoot will also be connected to Ganga Expressway
- New aerospace defense policy will be made
- Development of Prayagraj in view of Mahakumbh, another signature bridge will be built on Yamuna river.
Cabinet meeting was also held during Ardh Kumbh of 2019
This is not the first time that Yogi Adityanath has reached Sangam with his cabinet. Earlier in 2019, during Ardh Kumbh, Yogi had reached Sangam with his cabinet and took a bath in the Ganga with the sages and saints. Yogi Adityanath himself is constantly taking stock of the arrangements of Mahakumbh and is holding meetings with the officers. In this series, the cabinet meeting was held today in Prayagraj, in which important decisions related to the development of the state were discussed.
