Mahakumbh Mela is famous for its grandeur all over the world. This fair is going to be buzzing with devotees once again in 2025. This fair will run from January 13 to February 26 and will be held on the banks of four major rivers – Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari and Shipra. In such a situation, the Railway Ministry has made excellent arrangements for the Kumbh Mela. 992 special trains will be run for this huge religious gathering to be held in Prayagraj in January. List of trains going from Delhi to Prayagraj:
12427 New Delhi Superfast Express, Rewa → Anand Vihar Terminal: This train departs from Rewa at 04:20 hrs and reaches Anand Vihar Terminal at 06:40 hrs, seven days a week.
22416 Vande Bharat Express, New Delhi → Varanasi Junction: This train departs from New Delhi at 03:00 hrs six days a week and reaches Varanasi Junction at 11:05 hrs.
02394 New Delhi Patna Special, New Delhi → Patna Junction: This train departs from New Delhi and reaches Patna six days a week.
12454 New Delhi Ranchi Rajdhani, New Delhi → Ranchi Junction: This train departs from New Delhi at 04:10 on any day of the week and reaches Ranchi Junction at 09:45.
12424 New Delhi Dibrugarh Rajdhani, New Delhi → Dibrugarh: This train departs from New Delhi at 04:20 and reaches Dibrugarh at 06:00, 7 days a week.
12302 New Delhi Howrah Rajdhani, New Delhi → Howrah Junction: This train departs from New Delhi at 04:50 hrs, 6 days a week and reaches Howrah Junction at 09:55 hrs.

30 to 50 crore devotees expected in Kumbh:
30 to 50 crore devotees are expected to come to this event of Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj, hence the Railway Ministry has planned to run 992 special trains in addition to 6,580 regular trains from various cities for Prayagraj.
