Reliance Jio has launched two new cheap recharge plans for its prepaid users without data. These include only 365 days validity with the facility of calling and SMS.
These plans listed on Jio’s website are Rs 458 and Rs 1,958. These plans will benefit those users who do not use data and only use calling and SMS.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recently asked telecom companies to give Voice+SMS only recharge packs separately for their users.

Free access to Jio Cinema and Jio TV apps will also be available According to the company’s official website, in the Rs 458 plan, customers will get unlimited calling and 1000 SMS free on any network across India for 84 days. Apart from this, users will also get free access to apps like Jio Cinema and Jio TV.
At the same time, in the plan of Rs 1499, customers will get 3600 free SMS and free national roaming along with unlimited calling on any network across India for 365 days. Apart from this, free access to apps like Jio Cinema and Jio TV will also be available in this plan.

Jio removed two plans Jio has removed two old recharge plans from its list. These plans were 479 and 1899 rupees. The plan of Rs 1899 used to get 24GB data with a validity of 336 days, while in the Rs 479 plan, 6GB data was available with 84 days validity.
Customers get without data pack cheaply TRAI wanted customers to get a pack without data cheaply, as many users use the phone only for calling. However, they have to recharge for calling+SMS with existing data packs, which are quite expensive.
At the same time, many users use two SIMs, in which one is for calling and the other is for the Internet, but they have to recharge for both. In such a situation, the government issued a new guideline and ordered to issue SMS plans with only calling. This would provide direct benefit to about 30 crore mobile users of the country.
