Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched a new variant of Verna in the compact sedan segment for the Indian market today (5 June). Its initial ex-showroom price is Rs 13.79 lakh. It will get 20kmph mileage. This variant has been positioned between SX and SX (O) variants, with manual and CVT options.
Due to the introduction of this variant, features like ventilated and Heated front seats, lady’s seat upholstery and 8 speaker Bose Sound System will be available in this car for Rs 1 lakh less. It competes with Honda City, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Warts in the compact sedan segment. A 3 -year unlimited kilometer warranty is available with the car.

Now 5 trims and 9 color options The premium sedan is now available with 5 trims and 2 engine options. This includes Ex, S, SX, SX+ and SX (O) variants. The car can be purchased in 7 monotone color option typhoon silver, Fairy Red, Stari Knight, Titan Gray, Abis Black, Atlas White and Telurian Brown. Apart from this, Atlas white and fairy red dual tone color options are also available in it.
Along with this, the company is now offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Adopter Essences in Grand i10, Aura, Exteruance, Wenue and Varna.

2025 Hyundai Varna SX+ what is there in SX+? Hyundai Varna SX+ is the most affordable variant, with features such as heated and ventilated front seats, 8-spicker Bose Sound System and Ladrett seat upholstery, which have not been given in all previous SX variants. Apart from this, the new SX+ variant also has features with SX variants, including LED headlights, 16 -inch alloy wheels, LED DRL and LED tail lights. Its cabin consists of dual-tone black and beige theme, lady’s rapped steering wheel and gear liver.
The new variant has given features such as 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, single-paan sunroof, rear vents with automatic AC, wireless phone charger, cooled glovebox, ambient lighting and cruise control with rear vents. For safety, it offers features like 6 airbags, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, rear parking cameras, electronic parking brakes and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).



Performance: 19.60kmpl mileage Otherwise, the new SX+ variant has a 1.5-liter natural aspirated petrol engine, which generates 115PS power and 144Nm torque. It will be accompanied by a 6-speed manual and 7 speed dual touch clutch automatic transmission (IVT) option. This engine gives a mileage of 18.60kmpl with manual transmission in one liter petrol and 19.60kmpl with automatic transmission.
Its top variants provide a new 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, which generates 160PS power and 253Nm torque. This engine has also been tuned with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed IVT gearbox. The car will get three driving modes like Eco, Normal and Sport. Both engines are RDE Compliment and will also run on E-20 petrol.
