Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced to leave the CM post on Sunday. He had said on Sunday that he will resign from the post of Delhi CM after 2 days. The decision of the next CM will be taken in the meeting of the legislative party. A round of political discussions has started on this decision of Kejriwal. Questions are being raised whether this decision of Kejriwal will cost him heavily? However, it has been seen earlier also that there was a rift between the leaders after becoming the CM. Whether it is the case of Jitan Ram Manjhi in Bihar or Champai Soren in Jharkhand.
Can Kejriwal face loss?
Kejriwal has tried to win the trust of the public by announcing his resignation but his move can also prove to be a warning bell. Actually, Kejriwal has said that he and Manish Sisodia are not in the race for the CM post. This means that he will make someone else the CM.
The problem is that if someone else becomes the CM, then he does not want to step down from his post and this results in mutual discord and conflict and even separation. Bihar and Jharkhand are a direct example of this.
Manjhi in Bihar and Soren in Jharkhand are examples
In Bihar, Nitish Kumar had vacated his seat for Jitan Ram Manjhi but later a lot of political conflict was seen between the two. The same thing happened in Jharkhand. Here Hemant Soren gave the post of Chief Minister to Champai Soren but later when Hemant Soren returned, there was a lot of uproar in Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. The result was that Champai Soren became a rebel.
Let us tell you that Kejriwal had said on Sunday, ‘I am going to resign after 2 days from today. I will not sit on the CM’s chair until the public gives its verdict that Kejriwal is honest. If you think Kejriwal is honest then vote in my favour. Delhi Assembly will not be dissolved after I resign. A new Chief Minister will be elected in the meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party.’
Kejriwal said, ‘Manish Sisodia has also said that he will take up the post of Deputy CM and Education Minister only after getting elected by the people. My demand is that elections should be held immediately. Elections should be held along with Maharashtra in November. The new CM should be elected in the next one or two days.
