Delhi sarvodaya vidyalaya admission 2025: The admission process for Nursery, Kindergarten (KG) and Class 1 has started for 2025-26 academic session in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas of Delhi. Parents who are willing to get their children admitted to Sarvodaya schools can apply for it. In this regard, the Directorate of Education (DOE) has issued clear instructions to the school principals to ensure fair and smooth admission process.
The last date for admission process is 15 March 2025. Parents will have to submit necessary documents like residence certificate, birth certificate and caste certificate during the application process.
Where to get admission form?
Parents can get any kind of information related to admission from schools. To apply, the parents will have to bring the application form from the school and then fill it and submit it to the schools.
Required documents
- Birth certificate- Birth certificate issued by Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) or any other local body, or Anganwadi record.
- Photo- Photo of a passport size of the child.
- If applicable, the candidate will have to submit the caste certificate.
- It will be mandatory to submit the vaccination certificate of the child within six months of admission
- As a residence proof, either of the following documents will be valid: ration card, guardian’s voter ID card, electricity bill, water bill or phone bill, bank passbook in the name of guardian or child, Aadhaar card of any of the children or parents
Important dates
- March 15: Last date for submission of application form.
- March 18: Schools will put a list of applications with errors on their notice board.
- 18 and 19 March: Parents can go to school to rectify any mistake in their application forms.
- March 20: Computerized draw will be held for admission.
- March 21: Final list of selected students will be put on the notice board of the school.
