Citroën has today (28 September) announced the price of the automatic transmission model of its entry level hatchback car Citroën C3. The French car maker company introduced the updated versions of the Citroen C3 hatchback and Citroen C3 Aircross in the Indian market at the launch event of the SUV-coupe Basalt in August 2024.

The hatchback will now come with 6 airbags and new features have also been added to it. Citroen has given the option of six-speed torque converter automatic transmission in its top variant Shine Turbo, the starting ex-showroom price of which has been kept at Rs 9.99 lakh. The car competes with Maruti Wagon R, Celerio and Tata Tiago.

Citroen C3 : Variant Vice Price

Citroen C3: engine and gearbox Citroen C3 has a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which generates 81Bhp and 115Nm. This engine is tuned with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The option of 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine is also available with the car, which generates 109hp and 190Nm torque. With this, the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox is now available.

Exterior: LED projector headlamps will be available instead of halogen headlamps. The exterior design of the updated Citroen C3 has not been changed, but LED projector headlamps have been replaced with halogen headlamps. The car now has integrated turn indicators on the outside rearview mirror (ORVM). ORVMs can now be electrically adjustable and foldable. A wiper is also provided along with a washer on the rear windshield.

Interior: 7 inch fully digital driver display The dashboard of the car remains the same as before, but now it has a 7-inch fully digital driver display, which is taken from the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV. Apart from this, in C3 the switches for automatic climate control and power windows have been removed from the center console and placed on the driver’s side door pads.

Features: 6 airbags will be available for safety The Citroen C3 hatchback continues to come with features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted audio controls, remote locking/unlocking and a height-adjustable driver’s seat.

For safety, now 6 airbags have also been provided in C3 hatchback. Apart from this, features like electronic stability control, a hill hold assist, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a rear parking camera with sensors are available.
