Change in election symbol of Uddhav group.
Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra about a month from now. Political parties are busy in their preparations for the elections. Amidst the election preparations, the election symbol of Uddhav Thackeray’s party Shiv Sena UBT, which is a torch, has been changed. A slight change has been made in the torch election symbol of Shiv Sena UBT faction. Let us know why the election symbol of Uddhav’s party was changed just before the assembly elections.
Why was the change made?
Shiv Sena UBT faction gets reformed ‘Mashal’ election symbol. In fact, in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Uddhav Thackeray faction had said that the torch election symbol would look like an ice cream cone. For this reason the election symbol has been changed. Shiv Sena UBT has now got the election symbol with a slight change in which it clearly shows the torch. This is being promoted by the party.
Controversy over seat sharing in MVA
The tussle continues in Mahavikas Aghadi over the issue of seat sharing. Uddhav Thackeray has said that where more than one party contests elections together, there is some tug-of-war over seats. But all parties need to take care that it does not reach the point of breakdown. Uddhav said that seat sharing will be decided before the elections. Seat sharing can be decided in two to three days or on Saturday itself. According to the information, consensus has been reached on most of the seats in the meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi.
