Bihar The government has canceled a major recruitment examination. The government issued a notice saying that the online examination conducted for selection on contractual posts of Community Health Officer (CHO) is cancelled. In this recruitment examination, the government had found evidence of irregularities in the investigation. Bihar government wants to recruit 4500 posts of CHO through this recruitment drive. For this, recruitment is to be done through online CBT test examination.
Under the National Health Mission, 4500 posts were to be filled for this recruitment, for which the application process started on 1 November 2024 and time was given till 21 November 2024 to apply. The application process for this recruitment was continuing in online mode.

Bihar Government informed, “Under the advertisement number 07/2024 of the State Health Committee, Bihar, online computer based test (CBT) will be held on 01.12.2024 for selection/appointment on contractual posts of Community Health Officer (CHO) and on 02.12. Online CBT to be held on 2024 is cancelled. Information regarding next date of examination will be published.”
Why was it cancelled?
In fact, evidence of irregularities was found at some online centres. For this reason, it has been decided to cancel the examination for reinstatement of CHO on 4500 posts. Examination centers were also set up in the centers which were already blacklisted. After this, the Patna Police team conducted a simultaneous raid on 12 online centers on Sunday and also detained some people.
