A new 5G smartphone Poco C75 has arrived in the budget segment in the Indian market, which is priced at Rs 9,000, but in the launch offer you will be able to buy it for Rs 7,999. According to the company, this is the cheapest 5G phone in India.
It will have specifications like 50MP dual rear camera setup, 6.88 inch display and 5160mAh battery. Apart from this, everyone will know what is special in this phone and whether you should buy it or not…
Poco C75, Inbox: Back cover will not be available If you look at the box, it is in yellow color with typical Poco style. In this you get the phone and a 10 watt charger, but it supports 18 watt charging. Apart from this, there is also a charging cable, but no back cover is provided here.
Poco C75: Design Talking about design and build, the frame of the phone is made of polycarbonate and its back is also made of polycarbonate back material. Here you will get dual tone texture, matte finish with plain color in U shape on the top. Circular camera module can be seen here.
At the same time, full texture is given here at the bottom. This is called marble flow design. Fingerprints do not fall here while using the phone. It has only a single mic and a single speaker, yet its volume is quite loud. 150% volume boost is provided here.
There is a Type-C charging port between the mic and speaker and a full size SIM slot is available. With two SIMs you can add a micro SD card. A 3.5mm jack is provided at the top. You get IP52 rating here and also a side mounted fingerprint sensor is provided, which is quite fast and its response is quite good.
The smartphone has a flat display panel. The phone we have is of Enchanted Green color, apart from this there is also the option of Aqua Blue and Silver Stardust color.
Poco C75: The big scream is right for multimedia The phone has a 6.88-inch HD + LCD display, which works at a refresh rate of 120Hz and has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Smoothness is good here. We have tried swipes and also checked the interface. We got an overall good response.
A water drop notch screen is seen in it, but it would have been better if there was a punch hole and the chin is also of decent size and at the same time it has also been given TUV Blue Light certification which is flicker free.
It has a peak brightness of 600 nits. Outdoor visibility is quite decent considering the price of Rs 10,000. There is no problem in its visibility even in strong light at full brightness. We have also watched high definition movies in it, so accordingly, if you want to consume multimedia on a big size screen, then this phone is perfect for that too.
Performance: Can play BGMI by setting it to maximum 40FPS For performance, it has been fitted with a 4Nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4S Gen 2 chipset, which runs at a clock speed of 2.0GHz. Along with this you get LPDDR4X RAM. AnTuTu score of 3 lakh 70 thousand 326 is obtained, which is right for under 10 thousand.
We have also tried playing games in it. In this, BGMI supports maximum 40FPS. You can play with collar beauty on high. Not exactly a dedicated gaming chipset, but if you have to do normal tasks. If you want to play casual games, if you want to play some games with high graphics then you can play them by setting them on low or medium and we have also tried day to day tasks. Like opening apps and multi-tasking, the phone runs smoothly here too.
Talking about software, the phone works on Xiaomi’s Hyper operating system based on Android 14. With this, software updates of up to two years and security updates of up to 4 years will be available. That means you will get updates till Android 16 and you can use this phone well for two years with updates if you want updates.
There are some pre-installed apps provided in the phone, which you can delete and some notifications also come, which you can disable. Overall, by doing all this, the user experience will become even better and if you want to record calls, you can do that too.
Camera: 50MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary lens Talking about camera, it has dual camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. The special thing is that Sony lenses have been provided in the phone, which provide features like time-lapse, portrait mode and 10x zoom. With this you can shoot video at 30FPS.
At the same time, a 5 megapixel camera will be available in the front for selfie and video calling. With this you can also shoot videos at 30FPS. Picture quality is good. Dynamic range is good. If I judge on the basis of under ten thousand, then the overall camera quality is fine. We took some photos of it which you can see. Picture quality is a bit bad at night, but it is fine for Rs 10,000.
Battery: 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support Talking about the battery, the budget friendly phone has a 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, but as I told you earlier, a 10-watt charger is available with it. With this, it will take 1 hour 40 minutes to charge the phone from 0 to 100%, but the overall backup of the phone is quite good. That means once the phone is charged, you can use it the whole day.
Connectivity: WiFi-5 and Bluetooth-5 Talking about network connectivity, seven 5G bands are available in it. But, currently only Jio SIM will get 5G support. Only 4G support will be available in Airtel, because it does not have NSA support. As soon as Airtel brings NSA support, it will also support 5G. Rest of the support of WiFi-5 and Bluetooth-5 is also available. Storage: 64GB memory For storage, the phone currently has only 64GB option, which can be expanded up to 1TB via micro SD card. The company can also offer it with more storage options later.
Bhaskar Opinion: A better option for daily tasks If you are looking for a phone below Rs 10,000 and you want a balanced phone. So Poco C75 is a better option for daily tasks. However, this phone is not for proper gaming and photography.
