The government’s order stated that a possible penalty can also be imposed on the social media platform X company.

In a statement released on Thursday, X claimed that the government’s orders include the demand to block the accounts of major users as well as international news organizations. The company said that it has started blocking the propaganda account running inside India, but emphasized that it is completely disagree with the argument behind the orders.
