After revealing behind the scenes pictures, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh have finally released their much-awaited single ‘Chal Kudiyan’. The song is from the actress’ upcoming release ‘Jigra’ and shows the strong will and strength of Alia’s character in the film. Both the stars have lent their voices to the song. This is the duo’s first song after a long gap of eight years as they previously worked together on the song ‘Ikk Kudi’. The video of the song has been shared by Alia Bhatt on her Instagram handle.
Alia’s new song released
Alia Bhatt wrote on her Instagram handle, “Chal Kudiyan is out now! Zigra releasing in cinemas on 11th Oct.” Soon after the song released online, netizens flooded the comment section with their opinions. “Going to stream this on loop right now,” wrote a user. “I’ve always said it and I’ll say it again Alia your voice is beautiful. Please keep singing in promotions, future films and wherever you go!” Another wrote, “Alia wins hearts with Diljit.”

Alia had already announced
Earlier this month, Alia had announced that she is reuniting with Diljit for a song from her upcoming film. Alia announced the news by sharing a post on her Instagram handle in which both the actors were sitting on their respective chairs with their backs to the camera. Dosanjh’s chair had ‘Sings about Kudi’ written on it while the back of Alia Bhatt’s chair had ‘Kudi said’ written on it. This was in reference to ‘Udta Punjab’ in which Dosanjh sang the popular song ‘Ik Kudi Jida Naam Mohabbat’. Alia’s post was captioned, ‘Chairs say everything.’
When will ‘Jigra’ be released
Directed by Vasan Bala, ‘Jigra’ also stars Vedang Raina in the lead role. He plays the actress’ brother. It is set to release in theaters on October 11. The film is based on the journey of Alia’s character, who takes extraordinary steps to get her brother out of jail. It is also produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra.
