The rule of setting up the temperature of the Air Conditioner (AC) between 20 and 28 degrees will not apply yet. Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav gave this information at the India Climate Summit in New Delhi on Friday.
Bhupendra Yadav said- The government will not bring the rule to determine the acute temperature. This change will be done slowly and over time. This can only be possible only after 2050.
Earlier on June 11, Power Minister Manohar Lal Khatter had said- soon AC will be made mandatory to run within the fixed limit of 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.

answer: Electricity demand is increasing with increasing summer. In June this year, the demand for electricity reached 241 GW, which was the highest of this year. The government estimates that the peak demand can go up to 270 GW.

- Power cuts low: Reduction of power demand will reduce pressure on the power grid and reduce the problem of power cuts. There will be less carbon emissions due to low power consumption.

answer: The date of implementation of this rule has not been officially announced. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that it will be implemented “soon”.
