Maulana Mahmood Madani in your court
New Delhi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Madani answered India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma’s questions candidly in Aap Ki Adalat. In Aap Ki Adalat, Maulana Mahmood Madani openly praised gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari. He called Mukhtar Ansari the messiah of the poor. He said that I am not saying this. You can go to that area and ask, this is not because he is a Muslim, more than 80 percent non-Muslims are with him. He was not just a man of Muslims. He was really a man of the poor.
Mukhtar Ansari did not occupy anyone’s house
Madani said that you can show me any case in which someone’s house has been occupied. I can say this with full confidence. His brother is an MP. When someone dies, one has to say good things about him. I am not the only one saying this, the whole area is saying this. When he was alive, I never praised him. Maulana said that I will have to talk about his good deeds.
What did Madani say on the question of playing DJ in Muslim weddings?
If DJ is played at a Muslim wedding, will the Maulana not perform the Nikah? Madani replied in the affirmative. He said that we will not allow a wedding to take place in which there will be excessive expenditure, DJ and the poverty of the poor will be made fun of.
Maulana Madani said this on this issue
In response to a question, Maulana Madani said, ‘Every toothpaste and water has to be certified as halal because we have to check whether the toothpaste contains gelatin made from animal bones or fat or not. We have to check whether the source of the water is impure or not.’
