Four arrested in Kolkata rape and murder case
CBI has now arrested three people including Sanjay Roy, Sandeep Ghosh and SHO in Kolkata rape and murder case. In the FIR of this case, Sanjay Roy has a direct role in rape and murder while Sandeep Ghosh and SHO’s role is of delaying the FIR and destroying evidence. Apart from these three, four people have been arrested on corruption charges. Let us tell you that Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of Kolkata RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has now been arrested on both rape and murder and corruption charges.
Both the accused will be produced in the court
On Sunday, both Sandeep Ghosh and SHO will be produced in the court and the court will be told what their role was in the case. CBI has arrested SHO of Tala Police Station Abhijit Mondal in the rape and murder case of a female doctor in RG Kar Hospital. He will be produced in the court tomorrow morning. Apart from this, the court has given permission to keep RG Kar Hospital Principal Sandeep Ghosh on remand in this case. He will also be produced in the court tomorrow.
CBI will give details about Sandeep Ghosh and SHO
This case is related to the rape and murder of a female doctor who was posted at RG Kar Hospital. CBI has started investigation in this case and has arrested two people so far. Investigation of the case is ongoing. Before the arrest of these two, Sanjay Roy was arrested by CBI. Now both of them have been arrested in the same FIR. Details about their role are yet to come, whether they destroyed evidence or are being accused of negligence. They do not have a direct role in the rape and murder.

The CBI had questioned him for over 150 hours in the case and then arrested him in the corruption case. In the Supreme Court, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had told the Chief Justice’s bench that the crime spot had been changed. However, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, who was representing the West Bengal government, denied this.
The Supreme Court had asked the West Bengal government about the inexplicable delay in filing the FIR and the deficiencies in the common diary maintained by the Kolkata police. The CBI has questioned Mondal several times and has put the Kolkata police under scanner for mishandling the case and the proximity of some officers with key accused Sanjay Roy.
On Friday, Sanjay Roy refused to give his consent for a narco test. The CBI has so far conducted polygraph tests on ten people. The ED has started a separate investigation into the alleged financial irregularities in the medical college.
