Tesla’s cybercab was recently seen running on the road without a driver in the US.
Electric vehicle -making Tesla can start its robotaxi service from 22 June. This information was given by CEO Ellon Musk of the company in a post on X.
In response to a user’s question on X, Musk said, ‘Tesla is going to start a robotaxi service in Austin, Texas. However, its date is not final, as we are very worried about security, so the date can change. ‘
Musk also told that Tesla’s first driverless car will go directly from the factory to the customer’s house on June 28.

Robotaxi was seen during testing in America Musk recently shared a video on social media, in which Tesla’s driverless robotaxi was seen during testing on the streets of Austin, the capital of Texas in the US. The video is going viral on social media.
A new version of the model-y SUV was shown in the 8-second video clip. The front door of this black color car had white color robotax logo. The train stopped at an intersection and moved forward after crossing the road of people walking.
After this, a user asked Musk the question when the first public ride would start.

AI feature cybercab will run without a driver
Tesla CEO revealed the concept model of its first robotaxi ‘Cybercab’ with AI feature at the ‘We-Robot’ event in California, USA in October last year. This two -seat taxi has neither steering nor paddle. Consumers will be able to buy Tesla cybercab for less than $ 30,000 (about 25 lakh rupees).

Cyber truck inspired design, this two-door car
The design of the cybercap is very similar to the cyber truck. The front of the car has a thin connecting LED light, which acts as a DRL. Projector headlamps are provided at both its ends. Butterfly-wing on the side introduce the futuristic design of the car car. It is a two-door car. The rear part of it has a cyber truck -like storage cabin.

Neither steering nor paddle in cybercab
- The cost of running a cybercab will be 20 cents per mile i.e. around Rs 16 per 1.6 km.
- There will be no need for any kind of plug to charge it, that is, it has wireless charging.
- Cybercab is a full self -driving electric car, with no steering wheels and paddles.
- The cabin is quite compact and can sit in it only 2 passengers. A flat screen is given on the dashboard.

Only two people can sit in the robotaxi.
Ilon Musk wants to develop a fleet of taxis
Musk’s plan is to develop a fleet of self-driving Tesla taxis. Tesla’s Honors will also be able to list their vehicles as part time taxis. That is, when Honors are not using their cars, you can earn money through the network.
The new robotaxi model is a compact, futuristic two-seater. It directly targets installed autonomous taxi services such as Wemo and Cruise, Tesla is expected to make its place in this competition market.
Tesla’s strategy is to rely on its camera-based fully self-driving (FSD) system, which is quite different from competitions such as Wemo that uses lidar and radar technology. This technology is more expensive than Tesla’s technology.
Robovan will also bring Tesla
Tesla also introduced another autonomous vehicle ‘Robovan’ with robotaxi at its V-robot event that is capable of carrying 20 people. The goods can also be carried in it. Musk gave an example that it can be used for transportation of sports team.
