Murshidabad: Internet has been discontinued at many other places in Murshidabad, West Bengal. Some parts of Birbhum and Malda districts have been added to it. According to the information received, these steps have been taken to prevent rumors from spreading. Internet services will be closed at some places in Murshidabad as well as Malda and Birbhum.
How long will the Internet remain closed?
Internet services will be closed in these areas from today (Sunday) to 10 April (Tuesday). Despite the closure of internet services, phone calls can be made and SMS will be sent. In fact, the reason for the closure of internet services in Malda and Birbhum has been told that if no action is taken, rumors can also spread in the respective places in both these districts. Therefore, it has been decided to stop internet services in some areas of Malda and Birbhum as a precaution.
What happened in Murshidabad?
There was a violent protest against the Waqf Act in Murshidabad, West Bengal, during which the miscreants entered the house on Saturday and killed a father and son. On Friday, a young man was killed after being shot. So far 3 people have lost their lives in this violence and 15 policemen are also injured. After this violence, a large number of security forces personnel have been deployed here.
Firing even today
Violence took place in Murshidabad and a young man was injured in firing. He has been admitted to the hospital. BSF personnel are accused of attack. It was said that 2 to 3 rounds of bullets have been fired by BSF. Due to this violence, the BJP has made a shocking claim. BJP has said that after this tension, more than 400 Hindus have been forced to flee their homes.
