Chinese tech company Poco has launched the new budget smartphone Poco M7 of M series on the Indian market today (March 3). The smartphones have a 6.88 inch display 50 megapixel camera and a 5160mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The company has launched the Poco M7 smartphone in two RAM and single storage options. Its initial price in the Indian market is Rs 9,999. Buyers will be able to buy these smartphones from e-commerce website Flipkart from March 7. The phone will have 2 years of Android updates and 4 -year security updates.
Poco M6 5G: Specifications
- Display: The Poco M7 smartphone has a 6.88 -inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display will get 1650 x 720 pixels resolution.
- Camera: For photography, the rear panel of the phone gave a dual camera setup, with a 50MP camera with a Sony IMX852 sensor. The phone has an 8MP front camera for selfie and video calling.
- Battery and charging: For power backup, the phone has a 5160mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging.
- Connectivity: For connectivity, the phone has 5G, 4G, 3G, 2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, FM radio and USB Type-C port for charging.
Poco M7 Pro launched in December
The company also launched the M7 Pro 5G smartphone on 17 December. The budget friendly phone was given a 20MP selfie camera and a 5110mAh battery. The M7 Pro 5G was introduced with two storage variants. The base model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage was priced at Rs 14,999 and the top variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage was priced at Rs 16,999.

- Display: The Poco M7 Pro 5G has a 6.67 -inch GOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Which works at 120Hz refresh rate. The company claims that the phone has the most bright display in its segment, which comes with peak brightness 2,100 nits, HDR10+ and 5,000,000: 1 contrast ratio. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for safety.
- Camera: For photography, the back panel of the device has a dual rear camera setup with LED flash, which includes a 50MP Sony Lyt-600 primary lens and 2MP ultra wide angle lens with optical image stabilization (OIS). The camera setup will get AI features such as AI night mode and AI zoom. At the same time, a 20MP sensor has been given in the phone for selfie and video calling.
- Processor and OS: MediaTek Domenity 7025 Ultra SOC has been given for performance in the smartphone. The company says that the phone will get excellent performance for gaming. It has an Android 14 based hyper operating system, with two years OS update and 4 -year security update.
- Storage and RAM: The device has been supported by 8GB virtual RAM with RAM up to 8GB to do smooth run. At the same time, for storage, there will be an option of 128GB and 256GB at present, which can be increased to 1TB via micro SD card.
- Battery and charging: The Poco M7 Pro has a 5110mAh battery for power backup, which supports 45W fast charging to charge.
