Bengaluru-based EV company Ather Energy has today (January 4) launched the updated range of its popular electric scooter 450 series. This includes the 450S, 450X 2.9kWh, 450X 3.7kWh and 450 Apex. The electric scooter has been introduced with two new color options and new features.
Multi-mode traction control technology has been included in the Ather 450X and 450 Apex to prevent the scooter from slipping. This includes ‘Rain Mode’ for wet roads, ‘Road Mode’ for normal roads and ‘Rally Mode’ for off-roading. Electric scooter will now get a range of up to 161 kilometers.
The price of Ather 450 lineup has been increased. Prices now start at Rs 1,29,999 for the base model 450S, going up to Rs 1,99,999 (all prices ex-showroom) for the top model 450 Apex. The company has started test rides and booking.
The 2025 Ather 450 lineup rivals the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 lineup and the Hero Vida V2 in India.
