Chennai-based electric vehicle startup, Rapti.HV, has today (October 14) launched its first electric bike Rapti.HV T30. The bike is the first high voltage electric bike in India. The company claims that the bike will run 200 kilometers once fully charged. The bike has been introduced in two variants – T30 and T30 Sport. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 2.39 lakh.
The company has developed this electric motorcycle to compete with conventional petrol bikes of 250-300CC, but it will also compete with electric bikes like Torque Kratos and Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. Deliveries of the EV are expected to begin in Chennai and Bengaluru from January 2025, with plans to expand further based on demand. You can pre-book the e-bike from the company’s official website by paying a token money of Rs 1000.
