TVS Motor has launched the festive edition of its roadster bike TVS Ronin in the Indian market. This special edition is based on the top variant and is priced at Rs 1.72 lakh (ex-showroom). It has disc brakes with dual channel ABS for braking.
Along with this, the company has also announced a festive season offer for the base-spec Ronin SS. Along with this, a discount of Rs 14 thousand is being given on the bike. Now the price of the bike is Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
Customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The TVS Ronin competes with other neo-retro bikes including the Kawasaki W175 and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

Design: New Midnight Blue colour The limited edition of the neo-retro bike is offered in a new midnight blue colour, accentuated by a wide fluorescent green/yellow stripe and white pinstripe on the fuel tank and side panels. The rear of the fuel tank and the front half of the side panels also feature a metallic grey finish.
The bike also features a black-out fly screen above the LED headlight, which enhances the visual appeal and deflects headwinds. Apart from this, the Ronin Special Edition also comes with a long smoked visor, a USB charging port, a throttle body cover and fully black engine case, fenders and exhaust.
TVS Ronin is now available in 8 colour options. These include Magma Red, Lightning Black, Delta Blue, Stargaze Black, Galactic Grey, Dawn Orange, Nimbus Grey and Midnight Blue.
Hardware: 17-inch 9-spoke alloy wheels For comfortable riding, the bike has USD forks at the front and 7-step adjustable mono-shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the Ronin SS and DS variants come with single-channel ABS disc brakes. Whereas, dual-channel ABS disc brakes are standard in the TD and TD-Special Edition variants. It also has two ABS modes – Urban and Rain – to adjust the ABS intervention. The bike rides on 17-inch 9-spoke alloy wheels.
Features: LCD instrument cluster and turn-by-turn navigation The festive edition is based on the top-spec variant, so the bike gets all the features like LED headlights, a single-pod LCD instrument cluster with USB charger and Bluetooth connectivity. This includes call/SMS alerts, voice assistance, phone battery level and signal strength, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The bike has an all-LED lighting setup as standard. Apart from this, the bike also features a silent starter, side-stand engine cut-off feature and three-step adjustable brake/clutch levers. The Ronin also features TVS Glide-Through-Traffic which helps the bike move in traffic using only the clutch.
Performance: 225.9cc air and oil-cooled engine There is no mechanical change in the bike, for performance it has a 225.9cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which generates 20.1hp of power and 19.93Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The bike also gets adjustable levers and two ABS modes – Urban and Rain.
