Stree 2 choreographer accused of rape
A 21-year-old girl has accused Telugu choreographer Sheikh Jani Basha, popularly known as Jani Master, of sexually exploiting her multiple times. Acting on the allegations, the Cyberabad Raidurgam police registered a zero FIR against the man. The woman alleged that she had worked with Jani on several projects and he had been sexually exploiting her for the past few months. The victim said that he sexually exploited her multiple times while they were shooting together in various cities, including Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. She told the police that Jani also exploited her at his home in Narsingi, Hyderabad.

Cyberabad police have registered a sexual harassment case against choreographer Jani Master. The Raidurgam police of Cyberabad have registered a zero FIR against choreographer Sheikh Jani Basha, popularly known as Jani Master, following allegations of sexual harassment and are continuing the investigation into the case. A case has been registered against Jani Master under sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (causing hurt) of the IPC at the Raidurgam police station. A senior police official confirmed the news and said that the case is being thoroughly investigated. He said, ‘Since the woman is a resident of Narsingi, the case has been handed over to the police there and further investigation will be carried out.’
Who is the famous choreographer Jani Master?
The matter was first raised before Telangana Women Safety Wing (WSW) Director General Shikha Goyal, who advised the victim to register a case with the police. She said, ‘I advised them to initiate an internal investigation under the Sexual Harassment Prevention (PoSH) Act and since the allegations also include criminal charges, they were also asked to register a case with the Law and Order Police.’ Let us tell you that Jani Master is a choreographer of Telugu films. He has also choreographed many great songs in Kannada cinema. In Bollywood, he has choreographed ‘Photocopy’ from the film ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Ulza Jiya’ title track, ‘Laal Peeli Ankhiyan’ and ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ and ‘Aayi Nayi’ from ‘Stree 2’.
