Yamaha Motor India has launched an updated model of its popular maxi scooter Erox 155 in the Indian market. The company has updated it with OBD2B engine, as well as two new color options- racing blue and ice fluo varilians.
The ex-showroom price of the updated maxi scooter has been kept at Rs 1,53,430 and it has now become expensive by Rs 1730. This Arrox 155 Maxi-Sports Scooter is the first scooter to give traction control system (TCS) in its segment in India. It competes with scooters like Aprilia SXR 160 and Hero Zoom 160.

Automatic lock with smart-key technology The maxi scooter comes with smart-key techniques. This advance system offers facilities like answer back, lock/unlock and immobilizer. At the same time, the answer back feature helps the rider to activate blinker and bajer sound to find its scooter in the crowd. The immobilizer function allows the scooter to lock the scooter when it goes out of the realm of smart-key. This prevents the scooter from stolen.

Design: Telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorber The company has not made any changes other than the color option in the scooter. Its new racing blue color has a iconic blue finishing of Yamaha on apron, rims and body panels. Aerox 155 version S sporty is seen with this new color.
At the same time, black and white combo is given on the apron and body panels in the ice flu color theme. Apart from this, it also has a branding of Arrox in red color. It is also given on the apron of red color scooter.
The scooter has a telescopic forks and twin rear shock exarber as suspension as before. In addition, it contains 14 -inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. At the same time, it has a 230mm front disc and 130mm rear drum brakes for braking.




Performance: 155 CC single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine The 2025 Yamaha Erox 155 version S has a regular variant single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which generates a power of 14.79hp at 8000rpm and 13.9Nm peak torque at 6500rpm. This engine is updated from the on-board diagnostics (OBD-2B) system. With this, it will also run on the E20 fuel.
