Triumph Motorcycle has launched the Scrambler 400 XC in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price of the street fighter bike has been kept at Rs 2,94,147, which is more than Rs 26,540 more than the Triumph Scrambler 400 x. That is, it is the most expensive bike in India, made in partnership of Bajaj and Triumph.
The bike comes with a standard 5 -year standard and 5 -year extended warranty, including one year of roadside assistance. Apart from this, more than 20 new accessories options will be available to customize the street fighter. It will compete with the Royal Enfield Scramas 400, Yezdi Scrambler and Huskwarna Vitiplain 401.
Triumph Scrambler in 400 XC What new? In terms of off-road capacity, the scrambler is also above 400 XC, Scrambler 400 X. The biggest difference between Scrambler 400 x and Scrembler 400 XC is that the Scrambler 400 XC has tubeless tires with tubeless spoke wheels. However, the size of its wheels is equal to 400 x, it has a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.
The bike has high-mounted front beak fender, painted windscreen, adjustable clutch and brake liver standard. In this, the upper engine guard found in the second 400cc bike of Triumph has been removed and only lower engine guards have been given. The motorcycle weighs 190kg and is 5kg heavier from Triumph 400 x (185kg). It has 3 new color options- Racing Yellow, Storm Gray and Vanilla White.
Performance: 398cc liquid cooled single-cylinder engine Triumph has given a 398cc liquid single-cylinder engine to the Scrambler 400 XC for performance, which generates 40HP power at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm torque at 6500rpm. It has a slipper clutch with a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle has features such as swichable traction control, off-road ABS mode, ride-by-wire throttle, all-LED lighting, semi-digital instrument console and USB charging ports.
Hardware: 320mm front disc brake with 4-piston radial For comfort riding, the bike has a 43mm upside-down Big-Piston Forks and a gas-charged mono-shock unit in the rear with a pre-load adjustment. There are 320mm front discs and 230mm rear disc brakes with 4-piston radial for braking. The seat height of the scrambler 400 XC bike is 835mm and weighs 179 kg.
Features: Swachable Traction Control and Dual-Chal ABS Talking about the features, the bike has All-LED lighting (headlights, indicators, taillights), switched traction control, dual-channel ABS, an immobilizer, type-C charging port and semi-digital instrumentation. Along with this, an analog tacometer is given, next to which a digital tacometer, a gear position indicator is given on the screen.
